What is LATISSE?

LATISSE ® (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03% is the first FDA approved prescribed solution used to treat inadequate eyelashes (hypotrichosis), making your own lashes grow longer, thicker, and darker.

How does it work?

LATISSE ® increases the amount of hairs in the growth cycle (anagen phase); prolonging this phase allowing the hairs to grow. The exact Mechanism of action is unknown.

How soon will I see results?

Clinically proven this is a once a day treatment. Results have been seen as early as 8 weeks. Maximum results are generally seen at 16 weeks after which time a maintenance regimen is recommended.

What does each kit include?

Each LATISSE ® kit comes with a 3mL solution, and 60 disposable sterile eye applicators; One applicator per eye per day. When used daily, each LATISSE ® kit is a 30 day supply.

How do I use the product?

Once nightly, first ensure, that makeup and contact lenses are removed and the face and eye area are cleaned before application of LATISSE ®. Holding the applicator horizontal, apply one drop of LATISSE ® to the middle of the brush, then carefully apply lightly moistened applicator to the upper eyelid starting at the inner corner of the base of the eyelashes moving outwards. Avoid any runoff of product. Blot any excess solution with a tissue. Dispose of applicator after one use. Repeat this process for the opposite upper eyelid margin using a new sterile applicator. This helps minimize any potential for contamination from one eyelid to another. If you miss one night, do not try and catch up, just try and stay on schedule, do not use product more than once a day. The growth is gradual, take photos at week 0, 4, 8, 12, and 16 and watch your eyelashes grow.
